World Vision is an international partnership of Christians whose mission is to follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the kingdom of God. World Vision is both local & global, working at the grassroots in countries all around the world. World Vision is dedicating to working with children, families & communities, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender, to overcome poverty and injustice.

World Vision started its program in 1970 in the coastal area through giving relief for the affected people. After then in 1971 it rendered social service for the people of Bangladesh who were staying in India at that time. In 1972 World Vision started its journey in Netrokona district for the reform of liberation affected people. Primarily it started giving only relief but with the passage of time it started contributing to the socio-economic development. World Vision is performing its programs & activities through 72 projects all over the country.
