Bangladesh has institutionalized the electoral
process as the tangible mode of peaceful transfer of power by evolving the
system of Non-Party Caretaker
Government through the Thirteenth Amendment to
the Constitution in 1996.[1]
In
spite of some preordained blames of defeated parties, caretaker government has to
be credited for holding a free and fair poll which given nation confidence on
very process of election and politics.
