What is Social Welfare Outreach Project (SWOP)

Social Welfare Outreach Project (SWOP) is a special Health Care Project of World Vision Bangladesh. The Project started in 1985 and mostly served secondary and tertiary health services to the poor and oppressed Sponsored, Non-sponsored children and their families, and community members who come from different WV project areas. World Vision Hong Kong has been funding it since the inception of the Project.

What is Scheduled bank

A bank may be scheduled or non-scheduled bank. ‘Scheduled bank’ has been defined by the Bangladesh bank order-1972.
According to Bangladesh bank order-1972 article (1), A scheduled bank means a bank for the time being included in the list of banks maintained by the central bank under sub-clause (a) of clause (2) of article 32. Any bank not included in this list is a non-scheduled bank. For example, as of today, Grameen bank is not a scheduled bank. All the commercial banks in Bangladesh are, however, scheduled banks. Now the total number of scheduled banks is 51.

What is Jihad or Terrorism

We can find out a handful number of Islamist fundamentalists or terrorists through whom the total Muslim world is represented to the non-Muslims. General people are scared by them. Western leaders have used this issue as a strategy of expansion at the name of war on terror. Powerless Muslim rulers could not raise their accent about the true command of Islam. The so called jihadists are always inhabited in the world of fantasy. They aim to revive the ‘Golden Age’ without trying to cope with the present world or without trying to offer the genuine message of Islam.
